Right to Information (RTI)

RTI enables citizens to request information from public authorities about their actions, decisions, and expenditures. It promotes transparency and accountability in government by allowing citizens to access information that can help them make informed decisions and hold authorities accountable. Citizens can use RTI to obtain records, documents, and data related to government policies, programs, and activities. RTI has been instrumental in exposing corruption, inefficiency, and human rights violations, and in empowering marginalized communities to access their entitlements and benefits.

Writ Petitions

A writ petition is a legal remedy available to individuals to seek enforcement of their fundamental rights guaranteed under the constitution. Writs are filed directly to the High Courts or the Supreme Court, alleging violations of fundamental rights or seeking intervention in matters of public interest.
